A Humanistic Integrative counselling Psychotherapist.
Is a therapist who views each person as an individual with individual needs.
Therefore does not use one specific approach to therapy. But always takes under consideration who their client is and what they need. So an Integrative therapist views the person as a whole. The therapist and client build a therapeutic relationship, which is the foundation of therapy.
There are many therapeutic approaches in which the Integrative therapist is trained in for example, person-centered, transactional, cognitive, family, couples therapy, gestalt therapy, creative therapy and many more. However the therapist may have decided to specialize in a couple and choose only to use those or use a wider spectrum of the their integrative training.
The therapeutic relationship is confidential.
Usually takes place once a week at the same day and time.
